After having played for 7 minutes, Haroldo Alfonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ★ Lobos FC ★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Alfonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ★ Lobos FC ★'s Gerardo Piqué managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kamil Glik in the 9 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Alfonso got free with Nicanor Ascencio in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Alfonso struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Nicanor Ascencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★ Lobos FC ★. Nicanor Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Alfonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th match minute, ★ Lobos FC ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felíx Felix to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as ★ Lobos FC ★'s Haroldo Alfonso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicanor Ascencio. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. Haroldo Alfonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Ascencio having to interfere. Nicanor Ascencio made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Haroldo Alfonso sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the ★ Lobos FC ★ defense, Aristides Lluc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svante Valrot. The ★ Lobos FC ★ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svante Valrot should have stopped the shot. Haroldo Alfonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Nicanor Ascencio made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo Alfonso in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicanor Ascencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to El Pulpo Paceño getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Kamil Glik hit a great ball. In the 39th match minute, El Pulpo Paceño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svetoslav Genkov to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Ascencio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haroldo Alfonso in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Haroldo Alfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Onega stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Ascencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. El Pulpo Paceño's Joseph Lockwood was substituted for Aristides Lluc.
