Zgierskie Zlewy's Karol Ruszkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Zgierskie Zlewy's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Vollmar came free, but Karol Ruszkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Vollmar in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karol Ruszkowski saved Zgierskie Zlewy from getting behind. Karol Ruszkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Vollmar in the 13th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Robert Doicaru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mikolaj Jerzyk. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Zgierskie Zlewy's Robert Doicaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikolaj Jerzyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karol Ruszkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Vollmar, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Mikolaj Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Doicaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adam Pacholewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karol Ruszkowski having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Robert Doicaru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mikolaj Jerzyk. That made the score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. The supporters of Zgierskie Zlewy booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Pstrongowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pankracy Malicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Karol Ruszkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Doicaru was the one to do the kick off. If Adam Pacholewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, one of Newcastle United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Zgierskie Zlewy made a substitution. Dobromir Rukszcz replaced Norbert Podowski. Zgierskie Zlewy were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Newcastle United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robert Doicaru took the corner. Karol Ruszkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 74th minute. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliusz Kosakowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Doicaru in the 83rd minute of the match. Rolf King's late challenge caught a Newcastle United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolf King helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when Zgierskie Zlewy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolf King didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barnaba Bazylnikov took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikolaj Jerzyk. Mikolaj Jerzyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0.
