The crowd rose to their feet as Roch Komornicki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mikolaj Jerzyk. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Elin in the 6th minute of the match. After 7 minutes Newcastle United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tibor Horváth who took care of the corner kick. Mattis Magic Team's Bennvar Elin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Mattis Magic Team getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Tibor Horváth hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the game, Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Konrad Bubczyk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennvar Elin in the 12th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Newcastle United defense, Bennvar Elin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikolaj Jerzyk. The Newcastle United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikolaj Jerzyk should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Komornicki came free, but Mikolaj Jerzyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Mikolaj Jerzyk throw himself and got hold of the ball when Roch Komornicki in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Elin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when Mattis Magic Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bennvar Elin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konrad Bubczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Vollmar in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United's Edgar Lampa got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk got control of the ball when Tibor Horváth tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Mattis Magic Team defense, Marian Erland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konrad Bubczyk. The Mattis Magic Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konrad Bubczyk should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Komornicki in the 38th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Roch Komornicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, one of Newcastle United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mikolaj Jerzyk had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Bennvar Elin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 43rd minute, Thomas Vollmar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Mattis Magic Team made a substitution. Oriol Torrecillas replaced Zacarias Junqueira. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roch Komornicki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Adam Pacholewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Komornicki in the 54th minute of the match. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 70th minute, Adam Pacholewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newcastle United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roch Komornicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Roch Komornicki took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikolaj Jerzyk. Mikolaj Jerzyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Trigo in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes in the game, Thomas Vollmar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Konrad Bubczyk having to interfere. Mikolaj Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício Trigo in the 81st minute of play. After 85 minutes, Maurício Trigo made it 5-4 with a short kick to the right side. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Bennvar Elin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
