After a rather tough play, SV Balverliefd's Melker Gudmundsson got a free kick in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steven Homan got free with Flavio Lavatrice in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Molfetta sportiva's Flavio Lavatrice proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Molfetta sportiva from getting a goal against them. Molfetta sportiva's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Steven Homan scored to the left of an out of position Flavio Lavatrice, making the score, 2-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesare Di Renzo made a kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Carmine Iannone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ni Liang Yong took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yorrick Zoethout. Flavio Lavatrice made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Homan in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Steven Homan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Lavatrice saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The SV Balverliefd players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
