Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Wessel Bos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cristian Naike could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Emilio Shepherd made a huge save. A collision led to KN ZGORZELEC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Gilbert Gotfryd hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Roland. Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wessel Bos in the 13th minute of play. When Wessel Bos came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the KN ZGORZELEC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wessel Bos couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Vélez Juniors's zone, Wessel Bos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Vitin came out of the goal and Wessel Bos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilio Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Naike, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Cristian Naike ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilio Shepherd was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 26th match minute, KN ZGORZELEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvid Bodin to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes KN ZGORZELEC got a freekick which was hit by Luis María Ogazón. 29 minutes into the match, Cristian Naike dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emilio Shepherd, 2-0. Cristian Naike received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Emilio Shepherd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Mariusz Kaleta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KN ZGORZELEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariusz Kaleta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Roland kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Nicolas Roland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Shepherd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Naike to make the kick off. Emilio Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 52 minutes KN ZGORZELEC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guido Luzaide who took care of the corner kick. When Melchor Napier fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vélez Juniors's protests and gave Melchor Napier a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Napier. In the 54th minute Wessel Bos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Vitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwidon Furtok kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. KN ZGORZELEC made a substitution. Borys Karaszkiewicz replaced Emiliano Felice. In the 58th minute Nicolas Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Shepherd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Roland came free, but Emilio Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kazimierz Chrobak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Elpidio Vitin made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Roland in the 69th minute of play forced KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Severo Maule. Elpidio Vitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Kociniewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Sayvion in the 90th minute of play forced KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on KN ZGORZELEC's corner Eugeniusz Kociniewski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elpidio Vitin quite easily take care of the ball. KN ZGORZELEC's attentive André Luís Valladares managed to snatch the ball when Cristian Naike made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Vélez Juniors from getting a goal against them. Emilio Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
