Joaquim Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cylon. 姚广邦 hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Joinville City - FSCMZ's zone, 沈迪志 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Amaral came out of the goal and 沈迪志 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 沈迪志 in the 35th minute of the match. Neymar Joinvilense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 林城谦 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Germano Mandrak made a precise shot to the right of 林城谦. Cylon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 汪飞文 made a kick off. Joaquim Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 沈迪志 in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Joinville City - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Germano Mandrak hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neymar Joinvilense got free with 林城谦 in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 1-1. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 沈然弘 during the 104th minute.
