Karl Stjernfelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Bittor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 played minutes Johnny Jernberg rounded Howling Dawn U18's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Sundström in the 13th minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Santos Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Howling Dawn U18 made a substitution. Erasmo Oskarbi replaced Romulo Palos. Howling Dawn U18's Santos Hori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malte Sundström in the 26th minute of play. If Axl Rose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the match, Mansfield Town FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axl Rose came free, but Karl Stjernfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Juan Bittor hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Oskar Axelsson during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mansfield Town FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Howling Dawn U18 a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Axl Rose, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mansfield Town FC's Karl Stjernfelt. 1-2. Malte Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Howling Dawn U18 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Axl Rose made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Folke Örtlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mansfield Town FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Howling Dawn U18 the free kick. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Mansfield Town FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folke Örtlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Axl Rose cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Karl Stjernfelt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 65 minutes into the match, Mansfield Town FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Bittor came free, but Karl Stjernfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Knut Rolfsson kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axl Rose in the 69th minute of play forced Mansfield Town FC's goalkeeper Karl Stjernfelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes, Elias Mergildo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Howling Dawn U18 and the Mansfield Town FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Howling Dawn U18's Elias Mergildo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Howling Dawn U18 made a substitution. Scott Weiland replaced Axl Rose. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scott Weiland in the 81st minute of play forced Mansfield Town FC's goalkeeper Karl Stjernfelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Stjernfelt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Scott Weiland went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Baltasar Walme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Karl Stjernfelt made a huge save. Baltasar Walme received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl Stjernfelt came out and tried to block the shot, but Baltasar Walme slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 90th minute. After 93 played minutes Mansfield Town FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Henriksson. Karl Stjernfelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scott Weiland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Howling Dawn U18 played a much better game than Mansfield Town FC and deserved their victory. The Mansfield Town FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
