Spectators: 562 (Terracing: 423, Seating: 129, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredo Corrente started the match with the kick off. Angelo Mancini hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The supporters of Kingpins booed when A.C. Patagonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo De Cesaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mattias Asserlind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Corrente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes Kingpins's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angelo Mancini who took care of the corner kick. A.C. Patagonia's Angelo Mancini was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mattias Asserlind in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Titus Pullo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Igelström in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Toldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20thth minute of the game Harry Igelström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C. Patagonia's Francesco Toldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A.C. Patagonia's Moreno Torricelli got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Kingpins got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Fernkvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Paris in the 25th minute of play forced Kingpins's goalkeeper Mattias Asserlind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th play minute Edoardo Paris came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mattias Asserlind. 1-0. Mattias Asserlind came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. Patagonia's Alfredo Corrente. But to his dismay, Alfredo Corrente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 32ndth minute of the game Titus Pullo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C. Patagonia's Francesco Toldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Kingpins's Harry Igelström in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.C. Patagonia's goalie prevented a goal. Sven Bållström hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A.C. Patagonia were furious when Dario Dainelli was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of A.C. Patagonia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kingpins:s goal. With a little luck, Kingpins's Mattias Asserlind got control of the ball when Edoardo Paris tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd match minute, A.C. Patagonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo De Cesaris to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Titus Pullo came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kingpins's Ralf Olsmann was substituted for Charles Lenberg. Kingpins's Ove Modig was substituted for Sven-Ove Fernkvist. Kingpins's Mattias Asserlind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Paris in the 67th minute of play. Mattias Asserlind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Paris in the 68th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Kingpins got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Åkerman. Alfredo Corrente struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Mattias Asserlind didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C. Patagonia. Alfredo Corrente took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mattias Asserlind. Mattias Asserlind dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Francesco Toldo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 81st match minute, A.C. Patagonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Maldini to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 83 minutes, Alfredo Corrente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C. Patagonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Corrente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edoardo Paris scored 6-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mattias Asserlind, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Corrente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils-Åke Åkerman during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Kingpins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Åke Åkerman to maneuver through the defense.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Kingpins players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A.C. Patagonia.
