In the 2nd match minute, Pragmáticos 1903 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Neşat Arıcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOI's supporters rose to their feet, but Neşat Arıcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 12 minutes, Ahmet Necdet İlbeyi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Necdet İlbeyi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as LOI's Ahmet Necdet İlbeyi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael de Queiroz. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. After 18 played minutes LOI got a freekick which was hit by Güntekin Nabi. 23 minutes into the game, Douglas Gustavo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Yetkiner Yabgu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Vítor Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas Gustavo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yetkiner Yabgu saved LOI from getting behind. Telmo Palmeira struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Yetkiner Yabgu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pragmáticos 1903. 34 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goalkeeper Ismael de Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Necdet İlbeyi. Douglas Gustavo might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yetkiner Yabgu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Douglas Gustavo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Şensoy Andaç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neşat Arıcan in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ismael de Queiroz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Telmo Palmeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yetkiner Yabgu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Gustavo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pragmáticos 1903's Renato de Azevedo got a free kick in the 56th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Telmo Palmeira during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Pragmáticos 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Palmeira. Pragmáticos 1903's Tadeu do Nascimento was substituted for Gustavo Abud. In the 62nd minute, Telmo Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neşat Arıcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ismael de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Douglas Gustavo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Douglas Gustavo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yetkiner Yabgu. That made the score 1-2 in the 73 minute of play. In the 77th minute, Güntekin Nabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes, Pragmáticos 1903's Gustavo Berger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yetkiner Yabgu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pragmáticos 1903 reached it. The audience was convinced that Douglas Gustavo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yetkiner Yabgu was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Neşat Arıcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ismael de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Douglas Gustavo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yetkiner Yabgu. The goal made the score 2-3. 94 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Gustavo came free, but Yetkiner Yabgu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
