After a defensive mix-up in Gloria's zone, Tommy Sundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bohuš Kadleček came out of the goal and Tommy Sundberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pihl United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luc Fontaine in the 12th minute. The supporters of Pihl United booed when Gloria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Maule didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bohuš Kadleček was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luc Fontaine. Pihl United's Gottfrid Haström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Platon in the 19th minute of play. Bohuš Kadleček took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Sundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bohuš Kadleček made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Sundberg in the 22nd minute of play. In the 81st minute, Daniel Waselewicz made a precise shot to the right of Bohuš Kadleček. Gloria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Sundberg in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bohuš Kadleček prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, Gloria's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Waselewicz came free, but Bohuš Kadleček reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
