The shot was a little too simple and Jean dos Santos could save by the left post. Akira アキラ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ronaldo MacAlister in the 23rd minute. Akira アキラ's Ronaldo MacAlister was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jean dos Santos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Akira アキラ's zone, Moisés Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Araújo came out of the goal and Moisés Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronaldo MacAlister in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jean dos Santos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio Motta in the 36th minute of play forced Remedios SC's goalkeeper Jean dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Moisés Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo MacAlister stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Remedios SC's Horácio Galvão got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Remedios SC's zone, Raí Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean dos Santos came out of the goal and Raí Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Horácio Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo MacAlister in the 61st minute of play forced Remedios SC's goalkeeper Jean dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Akira アキラ were awarded a corner. Ronaldo MacAlister went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Josué Lago managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 64 minutes into the match, Remedios SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo MacAlister came free, but Jean dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Jürgen Klinsmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, Remedios SC's Moisés Lima made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusébio Araújo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ronaldo MacAlister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Remedios SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo MacAlister came free, but Jean dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Araújo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Chivu Quintana sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moisés Lima during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Moisés Lima's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eusébio Araújo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 94 played minutes Remedios SC got a freekick which was hit by Chivu Quintana. In the 95th match minute, Akira アキラ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Remedios SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
