But to his dismay, Joaquin Cordarrel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Luzaide in the 15th minute of play forced Margarita's goalkeeper Ruperto Raulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Jaime Iratzeder notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Legio X Eqvestris's Guido Luar. Guido Luar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 23 minutes, Hernan Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legio X Eqvestris and the Margarita players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Legio X Eqvestris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Velasco to maneuver through the defense. One of Margarita:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Legio X Eqvestris:s goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Iratzeder to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Jaime Iratzeder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Margarita and the Legio X Eqvestris players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Jaime Iratzeder got a free kick in the 51st minute. Ruperto Raulo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Haritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Carlomagno charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
