Pedro Mantorras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Felix Ghee made a huge save. Lucas Luis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Ghee read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Stiinta-Univ.'s Felix Ghee proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Stiinta-Univ. from getting a goal against them. Lucas Luis kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Marcel Bărcăuan made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Terceirense F.C.'s Avelino Padilha. 12 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Felix Ghee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Mantorras. 14 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s Pedro Mantorras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Ghee narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Terceirense F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baltasar Saraiva in the 15th minute. After 18 minutes, Mário Rijo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terceirense F.C. and the Stiinta-Univ. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Terceirense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Rijo to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Bărcăuan charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Bărcăuan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Bărcăuan. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Felix Ghee, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Pedro Mantorras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 25 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Felix Ghee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Mantorras. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Mantorras kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felix Ghee. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Pedro Mantorras took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Ghee. Felix Ghee dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Lucas Luis kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Lousada. Lucas Luis came free in the 44th minute and tried to tip the ball over Felix Ghee, but to the joy of Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters the ball went over. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Mantorras was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Pedro Mantorras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s Pedro Mantorras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Ghee narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Mário Rijo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Enke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Burdujan in the 66th minute of play. Robert Enke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Burdujan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Angelo Guerreiro replaced Mário Rijo. Felix Ghee didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregório Moutinho went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute Gregório Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Terceirense F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nicolas Lousada hit a great ball. Gregório Moutinho took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Ghee. Felix Ghee dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Marcel Bărcăuan made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mihail Juverdeanu immediately put the ball in play. If Mihail Juverdeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terceirense F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
