Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tommy Sundberg kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Shea Caballero came free, but Ruperto Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match Pihl United got a corner. Margarita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luc Fontaine ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Luc Fontaine got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ruperto Raulo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Uriel Hever hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Ruperto Raulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luc Fontaine, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ruperto Raulo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Sundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pihl United's Tommy Sundberg in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Margarita's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Waselewicz in the 20th minute of play forced Margarita's goalkeeper Ruperto Raulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruperto Raulo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Sundberg in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes, Uriel Hever mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Margarita and the Pihl United players grew even worse after the yellow card. 26 minutes into the match, Tommy Sundberg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Margarita's Ruperto Raulo. Ruperto Raulo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergio-Roberto Ramos in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Raulo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Uriel Hever hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 35 minutes of play, Pihl United's Enrique Ferreira made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruperto Raulo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Margarita's Ruperto Raulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Waselewicz in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute Daniel Waselewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Raulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Raulo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommy Sundberg went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
If Tommy Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 53rd minute, Enrique Ferreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Raulo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Sundberg in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Raulo saved Margarita from getting behind. Ruperto Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio-Roberto Ramos in the 57th minute of the match. Sergio-Roberto Ramos hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the game, Jaime Iratzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Margarita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pihl United the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Iratzeder to maneuver through the defense. Ruperto Raulo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Sundberg in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Raulo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 81 minutes Margarita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luc Fontaine who took care of the corner kick. After 83 minutes, Tommy Sundberg made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Margarita's Ruperto Raulo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Enrique Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Pihl United's Daniel Waselewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruperto Raulo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Ruperto Raulo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tommy Sundberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 89 minute of play. Pihl United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
