An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Amadieu in the 5th minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Denis Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Baptiste Demestre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Radomil Cymbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Ghee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Amadieu in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14thth minute of the game Gaël Rats who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stiinta-Univ.'s Denis Ghee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s Cazimir Pânzaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tord Waller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Stiinta-Univ. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cazimir Pânzaru hit a great ball. Manuel Burdujan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Tord Waller skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Matei Onaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Gaël Pillot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Matei Onaca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Traian Lupescu during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Gaël Rats got a free kick in the 37th minute. Mihail Juverdeanu charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihail Juverdeanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mihail Juverdeanu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Denis Ghee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaël Rats, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Matei Onaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Ghee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Amadieu in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaël Rats was the one to do the kick off. Matei Onaca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Waller having to interfere. In the 57th minute Tony Amadieu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomil Cymbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaël Ratss short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Denis Ghee to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tord Waller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matei Onaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Baptiste Demestre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Denis Ghee made a huge save. Denis Ghee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaël Rats's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. With his leg Denis Ghee managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Le Stade Briochin UC's Gaël Rats fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Le Stade Briochin UC's Tord Waller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cazimir Pânzaru in the 72nd minute of play. Matei Onaca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tord Waller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Le Stade Briochin UC's Ferdinand Brin was substituted for Kylian Fortune. Tord Waller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Onaca in the 77th minute of the match. Denis Ghee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaël Rats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matei Onaca's late challenge caught a Le Stade Briochin UC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matei Onaca helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Mihail Juverdeanu got a free kick in the 84th minute. Le Stade Briochin UC's Fabien Kac shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Denis Ghee but with some difficulty. With his leg Denis Ghee managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Le Stade Briochin UC's Gaël Rats fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Ferdinand Brin got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Denis Ghee made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Tony Amadieu sent off a good shot on target. Cazimir Pânzaru kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Le Stade Briochin UC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
