Rafael Demanet hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Darío Verón got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Orfilio Orbañanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clark Kent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orfilio Orbañanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cai Jian Chang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 朱宽翔 struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Clark Kent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U. de Tarapacá. U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Osasun in the 36th minute of play. In the 41st minute Dalmacio Osasun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Balboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Sebastián Roco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Clark Kent successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 47th minute, U. de Tarapacá's Norberto Mangueira seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Norberto Mangueira the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of U. de Tarapacá protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Norberto Mangueira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 48th match minute, U. de Tarapacá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. U. de Tarapacá's Yuan Zhen Lin was substituted for 朱宽翔. Norberto Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Valentin Vrânceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zorros del Desierto's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Vrânceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Balboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Emil Kapinos replaced Zenaido Oviedo. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orfilio Orbañanos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Lepe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Ariel Balboa made a huge save. Clark Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orfilio Orbañanos in the 63rd minute of play. Cai Jian Chang kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Orfilio Orbañanos came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuan Zhen Lin kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save U. de Tarapacá from getting a goal against them. After 99 minutes, Jonathan Lepe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zorros del Desierto and the U. de Tarapacá players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 99 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Lepe. Zorros del Desierto played a much better game than U. de Tarapacá and deserved their victory. The U. de Tarapacá players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
