The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, Svend Betz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicodemo Recalde was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Nicodemo Recalde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Cochrane's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Ye Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Vicente Soler in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in VILLANUEVA FC's zone, Svend Betz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicodemo Recalde came out of the goal and Svend Betz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, VILLANUEVA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Cochrane came free, but Nicodemo Recalde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicodemo Recalde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Cochrane, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Nicodemo Recalde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Svend Betz's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The FSX UNITED fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when FSX UNITED's Svend Betz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to FSX UNITED getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Víctor Javier Ebensperger hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, FSX UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Xalvador Mac Kenney came free, but Ye Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicodemo Recalde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svend Betz in the 34th minute of play. With an all-out effort, VILLANUEVA FC's Ye Wei threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xalvador Mac Kenney, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atahan Hatemoğlu during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FSX UNITED booed when VILLANUEVA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atahan Hatemoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evelio Matetich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FSX UNITED made a substitution. Marcelo Salas replaced Thomas Cochrane. FSX UNITED's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karl-Åke Kvist in the 61st minute. The corner led FSX UNITED's Disvandis Advis to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicodemo Recalde despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. VILLANUEVA FC's Nicodemo Recalde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Salas in the 62nd minute of play. Nicodemo Recalde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Salas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, VILLANUEVA FC's Nicodemo Recalde got control of the ball when Marcelo Salas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, FSX UNITED's Marcelo Salas made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicodemo Recalde was left in no man's land by his defense there! FSX UNITED's Ye Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Blanco in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute Marcelo Salas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodemo Recalde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded FSX UNITED left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than VILLANUEVA FC.
