The Algarrobo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 41 minutes into the match, PROTON F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Cañas came free, but Reinaldo Urbina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Maurino Alderete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurino Alderete to strike the kick off in the second half. A nice corner shot did that Maurino Alderete got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Everardo Ado quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as Algarrobo's Sarracino Agurto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reinaldo Urbina. That made the score 0-7 after 69 minutes of play. Reinaldo Urbina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Nadal in the 72nd minute. Everardo Ado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enric Blanch, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Fidelio Aldunate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Urbina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Sarracino Agurto rounded PROTON F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. In the 94th minute, PROTON F.C.'s Ysidro Uribe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ysidro Uribe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of PROTON F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ysidro Uribe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 95th match minute, PROTON F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ysidro Uribe to maneuver through the defense. Algarrobo played a much better game than PROTON F.C. and deserved their victory. The PROTON F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
