The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicodemo Recalde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro De Gavardo in the 3rd minute of the match. Isidro De Gavardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicodemo Recalde having to make a save. Nicodemo Recalde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro De Gavardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 6th minute of the game was made by Severo Anabalon with Xalvador Mac Kenney as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Renato Kilpatrick kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes VILLANUEVA FC got a freekick which was hit by Xacobo Barroso. Xalvador Mac Kenney blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darío Friederichs having to make a save. Xacobo Barroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darío Friederichs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Vicente Soler in the 26th minute of play. Nibiru X were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after VILLANUEVA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Renato Kilpatrick took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Vicente Soler in the 32nd minute of play forced Nibiru X's goalkeeper Darío Friederichs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro De Gavardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicodemo Recalde having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro De Gavardo in the 34th minute of play forced VILLANUEVA FC's goalkeeper Nicodemo Recalde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Nibiru X's Isidro De Gavardo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. VILLANUEVA FC's Nicodemo Recalde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro De Gavardo in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Severo Anabalon threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nibiru X's Renato Kilpatrick quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Isidro De Gavardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicodemo Recalde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro De Gavardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Isidro De Gavardo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of VILLANUEVA FC's Nicodemo Recalde. Nicodemo Recalde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute Xalvador Mac Kenney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darío Friederichs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

VILLANUEVA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xacobo Barroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro De Gavardo in the 63rd minute of play forced VILLANUEVA FC's goalkeeper Nicodemo Recalde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Armando Faine replaced Jose Rojas. Nibiru X's Fabio Caviedes was substituted for Dario Osorio. Nibiru X's Román Grebe was substituted for Isidro De Gavardo. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nibiru X's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xacobo Barroso was slow to take the kick. During this time VILLANUEVA FC's players had a chance to rest. Xacobo Barroso made a great header on VILLANUEVA FC's corner, it was just that Nibiru X's Darío Friederichs managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Nibiru X booed when VILLANUEVA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban José Norambuena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Diego Armando Faine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicodemo Recalde was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 91 minutes of play, Nibiru X's Diego Armando Faine made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicodemo Recalde was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nibiru X had played much better football throughout.
