The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clark Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Matetich in the 3rd minute of play. Clark Kent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Cochrane, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Jian Chang in the 15th minute of play forced FSX UNITED's goalkeeper Ye Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon-Ander Wallffiguer in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ye Wei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Svend Betz came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svend Betz in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Clark Kent, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Zorros del Desierto from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Svend Betz got free with Clark Kent in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Svend Betz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clark Kent came out and tried to block the shot, but Svend Betz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes, Roberto Vildosola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zorros del Desierto and the FSX UNITED players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Roberto Vildosola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Matetich in the 39th minute of play. Svend Betz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clark Kent having to interfere. After 46 played minutes FSX UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Víctor Javier Ebensperger. In the 47th minute of the match Valentin Vrânceanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ye Wei skillfully saved the ball.

The wind increased when Svend Betz made the kick off in the second half. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svend Betz in the 50th minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Roberto Vildosola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ye Wei. FSX UNITED's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Vildosola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Clark Kent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Cochrane, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Thomas Cochrane notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent. Clark Kent was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FSX UNITED's Mircea Popilean was substituted for Evelio Matetich. After a defensive mix-up in Zorros del Desierto's zone, Amancio Baesler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clark Kent came out of the goal and Amancio Baesler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clark Kent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Salas, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. FSX UNITED's Liu Peng Cheng suffered a concussion after 72 minutes and had to leave the field. Zorros del Desierto's Roberto Vildosola got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Roberto Vildosola off the ground. A collision led to Zorros del Desierto getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Roberto Vildosola hit a great ball. Dalmacio Osasun hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes, FSX UNITED's Karl-Åke Kvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clark Kent came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FSX UNITED reached it. In the 78th minute, Marcelo Salas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FSX UNITED's Ye Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Jian Chang in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute Zorros del Desierto were awarded a corner. Cai Jian Chang went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Cai Jian Chang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ye Wei quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 88th minute Marcelo Salas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Ander Wallffiguer. Marcelo Salas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Popilean in the 94th minute of play. FSX UNITED's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
