The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to PROTON F.C. getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Aníbal Veliz hit a great ball. Aníbal Veliz scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ye Wei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, PROTON F.C.'s Reinaldo Urbina got control of the ball when Svend Betz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reinaldo Urbina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svend Betz, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Thomas Cochrane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinaldo Urbina was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ye Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Veliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Zebastian Spets came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Reinaldo Urbina could save by the left post. PROTON F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Svend Betz scored to the left of an out of position Reinaldo Urbina, making the score, 2-1. Reinaldo Urbina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Cochrane in the 33rd minute of the match. Thomas Cochrane took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reinaldo Urbina. Reinaldo Urbina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 38th minute Svend Betz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Urbina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo Urbina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Matetich in the 39th minute of play. Reinaldo Urbina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Matetich, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Svend Betz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Reinaldo Urbina made a huge save. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurino Alderete to strike the kick off in the second half. Amancio Baesler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reinaldo Urbina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by PROTON F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl-Åke Kvist was slow to take the kick. During this time FSX UNITED's players had a chance to rest. Juan Carlos Caticura thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Reinaldo Urbina, a very annoying self made goal in the 80th minute which led to 5-1. After 83 played minutes PROTON F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Maurino Alderete. Reinaldo Urbina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Baesler in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Salas in the 87th minute of play forced PROTON F.C.'s goalkeeper Reinaldo Urbina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Karl-Åke Kvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinaldo Urbina was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Salas in the 91st minute of play forced PROTON F.C.'s goalkeeper Reinaldo Urbina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FSX UNITED's Marcelo Salas in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PROTON F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. The FSX UNITED fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when FSX UNITED's Amancio Baesler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee ended the match the FSX UNITED players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
