Ede Szász's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mitchel Dijkstra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Soares got free with Kaan Winter in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaan Winter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ture Asklöv could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Kaan Winter made a huge save. When Pan Mo Xiang came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the STORM CORNER F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pan Mo Xiang couldn't finish the play. Bartolo Ferdinand made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fc Benefica's Jens van Basten. In the 28th minute, Leandro Soares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Benefica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. STORM CORNER F.C.'s Krisztián Lisztes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ture Asklöv, made in the 30th minute of the game. Fc Benefica's Mitchel Dijkstra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ede Szász in the 31st minute of play. STORM CORNER F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cesare Silvestre in the 39th minute. STORM CORNER F.C.'s Cesare Silvestre was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mitchel Dijkstra in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Soares made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Fc Benefica's Ture Asklöv got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 59th minute of the game Bartolo Ferdinand made a throw-in which Ede Szász played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Soares in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaan Winter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Wilmink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaan Winter having to interfere. Fc Benefica made a substitution. Hugo Andriessen replaced Humberto Jonge. Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leandro Soares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaan Winter having to make a save. Kaan Winter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Pan Mo Xiang managed to get in a good position for a shot. STORM CORNER F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pan Mo Xiang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mitchel Dijkstra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fc Benefica fans cheered their team off the field, for while STORM CORNER F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
