The supporters of Fc Benefica booed when Wataha Świętokrzyska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witomir Gardocki didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Wataha Świętokrzyska's Zachariasz Rakiewicz got control of the ball when Leandro Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Soares to make the kick off. Leandro Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Soares in the 62nd minute of play forced Wataha Świętokrzyska's goalkeeper Zachariasz Rakiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Leandro Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Rakiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wataha Świętokrzyska's Zachariasz Rakiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Soares in the 67th minute of play. Mitchel Dijkstra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Zukowski in the 69th minute of play. Damien Bakker hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Damien Bakker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucjan Tworek's late challenge caught a Fc Benefica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucjan Tworek helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fc Benefica booed when Wataha Świętokrzyska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Tworek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Przemyslaw Wierzchowski made in the 76th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sylwester Szarmach. Jens van Basten's late challenge caught a Wataha Świętokrzyska's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee ignored Wataha Świętokrzyska's protests and gave Przemyslaw Wierzchowski a yellow card for diving instead. Leandro Soares might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zachariasz Rakiewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Soares in the 88th minute of play forced Wataha Świętokrzyska's goalkeeper Zachariasz Rakiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Soares struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Zachariasz Rakiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Benefica. Zachariasz Rakiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Wataha Świętokrzyska:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fc Benefica:s goal. After some careless play in the Wataha Świętokrzyska defense, Leandro Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zachariasz Rakiewicz. The Wataha Świętokrzyska fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zachariasz Rakiewicz should have stopped the shot.
