But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florin Tarcu couldn't finish the play. Norberto Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alexandru Chitimia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihai Stolojan in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murilo Paulista saved S.E YAGOSHOW from getting behind. Murilo Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Tarcu in the 17th minute of the match. FC Inter Craiova's Mihai Stolojan came free and shot a quick shot against goal 18 minutes in the game, fortunately Murilo Paulista had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Norberto Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alexandru Chitimia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E YAGOSHOW. In the 30th minute Iuri Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandru Chitimia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Iuri Siqueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexandru Chitimia was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Mihai Stolojan struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Murilo Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Inter Craiova. Murilo Paulista came out of the goal and Florin Tarcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Mihai Stolojan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iuri Siqueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Inter Craiova booed when S.E YAGOSHOW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iuri Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Stolojan in the 57th minute of play forced S.E YAGOSHOW's goalkeeper Murilo Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes FC Inter Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Iustinian Uncuţă. The FC Inter Craiova fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when FC Inter Craiova's Mihai Stolojan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.E YAGOSHOW players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Inter Craiova.
