Sandu Negara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomir Iwanowski having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Sandu Negara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ludomir Iwanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Negara in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliusz Wallach in the 18th minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Felix Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's Aureliusz Wallach got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Stiinta-Univ. defense, Wincenty Cichowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Ghee. The Stiinta-Univ. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Ghee should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's Leszek Przybyciel got a free kick in the 30th minute. Manuel Aluncai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomir Iwanowski having to interfere. In the 37th minute Sandu Negara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomir Iwanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's zone, Manuel Aluncai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludomir Iwanowski came out of the goal and Manuel Aluncai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Ghee made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Zbyszko Szkaradek sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Stiinta-Univ.'s Felix Ghee got control of the ball when Wincenty Cichowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stiinta-Univ.'s Felix Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Wallach in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zbyszko Szkaradek to make the kick off. Manuel Aluncai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Ludomir Iwanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 53 minutes, Manuel Aluncai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Aluncai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stiinta-Univ.'s Felix Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Wallach in the 56th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Aluncai during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Manuel Aluncai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Traian Lupescu took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ludomir Iwanowski. Ludomir Iwanowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Felix Ghee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Szkaradek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Mircea Creangă notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's Ludomir Iwanowski. Ludomir Iwanowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd match minute, MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waclaw Rzegotka to maneuver through the defense.
