Samuca Velloso came out of the goal and Mircea Creangă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Lúcio Paiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Ghee was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. With a little luck, COMCHOPP's Samuca Velloso got control of the ball when Sandu Negara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Samuca Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Creangă in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, COMCHOPP's goal looked a bit too open when Mircea Creangă came free, but Samuca Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuca Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mircea Creangă, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Stiinta-Univ.'s Alin Diculescu got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When COMCHOPP's Luís Paulo Leme in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alin Diculescu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Stiinta-Univ.'s Felix Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Schmidt in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mircea Creangă made a kick off. Luís Paulo Leme succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 54th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Creangă in the 60th minute of play forced COMCHOPP's goalkeeper Samuca Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Traian Lupescu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Samuca Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mircea Creangă, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Lúcio Paiva struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Felix Ghee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for COMCHOPP. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Creangă in the 97th minute of play forced COMCHOPP's goalkeeper Samuca Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Stiinta-Univ. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
