If Karl-Erik Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee ignored Mestre GG's protests and gave Ciro Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. Ciro Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Isaltino Oliveira hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Scrotum Kickers FC's Kim Enström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enio Pinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Severino Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Severino Quintal struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Sven Palmquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mestre GG. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Amadeu Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mestre GG's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Pombal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Palmquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven Palmquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Pombal in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mestre GG's Severino Quintal got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute Kim Enström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hernani Lira made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Scrotum Kickers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Lira came free, but Sven Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Mestre GG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaltino Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Wilian Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven Palmquist. Scrotum Kickers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilian Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 65th minute Malte Friberger suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilian Fonseca during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Scrotum Kickers FC's Mats Strömbom was substituted for Malte Friberger. Wilian Fonseca hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Kim Enström's late challenge caught a Mestre GG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kim Enström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Kim Enström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven Palmquist made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Hernani Lira sent off a good shot on target. Enio Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Bäcklin in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Kim Enström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
