Luciano Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Décio Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Gaspar came free, but Luiz Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Carlos Simões made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Didi Dionísio sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Oswaldo Paulista took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for João Carlos Simões to make any attempt to save it. Luiz Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Gaspar in the 31st minute of the match. Cléber Tróia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but João Carlos Simões firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Cléber Tróia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving João Carlos Simões. That made the score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. Eriberto da Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but João Carlos Simões made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Oswaldo Paulista made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Vítor Botelho during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Diamond Football Club booed when ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Vítor Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Vítor Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Abelardo Toscano got a free kick in the 59th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Diamond Football Club's Décio Motta tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute Didi Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4-0 became the score in the 66th minute when Cido Queirós elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Abelardo Toscano got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Renato Penha fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diamond Football Club's protests and gave Renato Penha a yellow card for diving instead. Cido Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Francisco Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Cido Queirós looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. João Carlos Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Paulista in the 80th minute of play. Cido Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cido Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Cido Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Carlos Simões came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Cido Queirós. But to his dismay, Cido Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Abelardo Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Décio Motta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Luiz Neto didn't even have to move. José Vítor Botelho hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Diamond Football Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
