Papunhas EC's Lauro Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Jonsson in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Bäcklin in the 33rd minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Lauro Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Håkan Sandström might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lauro Secco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Håkan Sandström ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Bäcklin came free, but Lauro Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Erik Jonsson scored 0-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lauro Secco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When Scrotum Kickers FC's Valentin Odén, in the 85th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Scrotum Kickers FC. Scrotum Kickers FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
