Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renato Penha in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. When Ciro Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mestre GG's protests and gave Ciro Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ciro Macedo hit a great ball. Diamond Football Club's João Carlos Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Diamond Football Club from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hernani Lira made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Hernani Lira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Carlos Simões was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernani Lira in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Carlos Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilian Fonseca made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Diamond Football Club's Décio Motta. When Mestre GG's Amadeu Pombal in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luciano Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Pinho having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, Mestre GG's Severino Quintal made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Carlos Simões was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute Hernani Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, João Francisco Mota sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Diamond Football Club's João Carlos Simões didn't even have to move. Enio Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 77th minute, Wilian Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamond Football Club's João Carlos Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Pombal in the 80th minute of play. Luciano Barral hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. João Carlos Simões didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Francisco Mota went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Amadeu Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. João Carlos Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Pombal in the 89th minute of play forced Diamond Football Club's goalkeeper João Carlos Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mestre GG walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
