Paulino Frechoso kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, A.A. Francana's Armandinho Vergílio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basilio Justin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jonatan Felipo struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Telmo Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Dionisio Monico got a free kick in the 37th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Wilton Romero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Basilio Justin, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armandinho Vergílio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Armandinho Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.A. Francana's Arnaldo Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Atlanta's Jonatan Felipo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Telmo Trigo. That made the score 3-1 after 66 minutes of play. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Paulino Frechoso hit a great ball. Serginho Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Basilio Justin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.A. Francana. Club Atlético Atlanta's Basilio Justin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armandinho Vergílio in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho Vergílio came free, but Basilio Justin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Telmo Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Felipo in the 84th minute of the match. A.A. Francana's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
