João Carlos Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Diamond Football Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Afonso Maciel 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. 42 minutes into the game, Edgar Baiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renato Penha was the one to do the kick off.
