Francana's Wilton Romero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Favoretto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ernesto Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armandinho Vergílio in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton Romero in the 9th minute of play forced Diamond Football Club's goalkeeper Ernesto Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes, Armandinho Vergílio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.A. Francana and the Diamond Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Armandinho Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilton Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Armandinho Vergílio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Favoretto. Diamond Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armandinho Vergílio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Wilton Romero scored 0-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Favoretto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Armandinho Vergílio hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Francisco Gaspar charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Gaspar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Diamond Football Club getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Francisco Gaspar hit a great ball. Ernesto Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Diamond Football Club's zone, Luís Eduardo Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Favoretto came out of the goal and Luís Eduardo Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Francisco Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Donato in the 44th minute of play forced Diamond Football Club's goalkeeper Ernesto Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Wilton Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Renato Penha to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Armandinho Vergílio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ernesto Favoretto. The goal made the score 0-5. Diamond Football Club's Ernesto Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Ramos in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Diamond Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Berger to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the game, Armandinho Vergílio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Ernesto Favoretto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Armandinho Vergílio could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Ernesto Favoretto however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Diamond Football Club's Ernesto Favoretto got control of the ball when Luís Eduardo Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Ramos in the 72nd minute of play forced Diamond Football Club's goalkeeper Ernesto Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francana's Wilton Romero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernesto Favoretto. That made the score 0-8 after 78 minutes of play. In the 82nd minute Luís Eduardo Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Favoretto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Armandinho Vergílio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 83 minute of play. Armandinho Vergílio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Ernesto Favoretto made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as A.A. Francana's Luís Eduardo Donato slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernesto Favoretto. That made the score 0-10 after 87 minutes of play. Ernesto Favoretto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armandinho Vergílio went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Armandinho Vergílio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Ernesto Favoretto made a huge save. Ernesto Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. A.A. Francana's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
