Sven Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Trigo in the 12th minute of play forced Scrotum Kickers FC's goalkeeper Sven Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Scrotum Kickers FC booed when Montevideo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruy Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Sandström in the 21st minute of the match. Olavo Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Roland Bäcklin took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruy Loureiro. Ruy Loureiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sven Palmquist was a little too slow when Bruninho Trigo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-1. Sven Palmquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deivid Vinhas went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Enström came free, but Ruy Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emílio Bittencourt during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emílio Bittencourt hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Bäcklin in the 45th minute of play forced Montevideo's goalkeeper Ruy Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruy Loureiro made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Kim Enström sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Scrotum Kickers FC defense, Deivid Vinhas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Palmquist. The Scrotum Kickers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Palmquist should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Scrotum Kickers FC's Karl-Erik Jonsson got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ruy Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Broberg in the 90th minute of the match. Karl-Erik Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montevideo's Ruy Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo from getting a goal against them. If Bruninho Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Montevideo's Deivid Vinhas in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scrotum Kickers FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
