In the 33rd match minute, Brasiliense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Wilian Fonsecas short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Geovanni Almeida to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Hernani Lira fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mestre GG's protests and gave Hernani Lira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Luís Fábio Goiano made a precise shot to the right of Enio Pinho. Mestre GG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernani Lira was the one to do the kick off. The Mestre GG fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brasiliense FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
