In the 16th minute Tiaguinho Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Justin came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Luís Eduardo Arce. But to his dismay, Luís Eduardo Arce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Adriano Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriano Secco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Adriano Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Basilio Justin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrinho do Valle. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Pedrinho do Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Justin. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Justin should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Eduardo Arce came free, but Basilio Justin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Bernardo Ranolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Arnaldo Coutinho from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Basilio Justin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Gerazan got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Arnaldo Coutinho, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonatan Felipo made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Arce. Basilio Justin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Eduardo Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Eduardo Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Ranolfo's late challenge caught a Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Ranolfo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Bernardo Ranolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuca Bezerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonatan Felipo went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute Luís Eduardo Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Manoel Mota was substituted for Daniel França. Club Atlético Atlanta's Basilio Justin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Fontes in the 73rd minute of play. Basilio Justin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Eduardo Arce's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Gaston Joanes's late challenge caught a Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Joanes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Rondinone F.C - FDFDF. Perivaldo Pitta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Basilio Justin. 5-1. Basilio Justin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Eduardo Arce went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Basilio Justin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Faria in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Arce in the 96th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Basilio Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atlético Atlanta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
