Cleiton Cosme charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleiton Cosme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleiton Cosme to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the game, Zeca Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papunhas EC the free kick. Régis Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Pernambucano in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Adriano Matorin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Régis Madureira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Papunhas EC's Régis Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Pernambucano in the 26th minute of play. Betinho Aparecido hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Régis Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Nóbrega in the 31st minute of the match. Zeca Garcia was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 33rd match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Garcia to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the game, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Christoffer Kempel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Régis Madureira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 42 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Kempel came free, but Régis Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Papunhas EC's Régis Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Kempel in the 49th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano Matorin in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Régis Madureira saved Papunhas EC from getting behind. Régis Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoffer Kempel, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nestor Rodrigues during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when Papunhas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Papunhas EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Luiz Gerber scored to the left of an out of position Régis Madureira, making the score, 0-4. Adriano Matorin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Régis Madureira having to make a save. Régis Madureira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adriano Matorin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 67 minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match, Christoffer Kempel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Régis Madureira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Régis Madureira made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Christoffer Kempel sent off a good shot on target. Fernandão Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Betinho Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Christoffer Kempel sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Régis Madureira threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Christoffer Kempel this time. In the 80th minute Adriano Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Régis Madureira was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Christoffer Kempel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christoffer Kempel really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Régis Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Mazza in the 85th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Matorin in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Régis Madureira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christoffer Kempel came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Régis Madureira could save by the left post. After having played for 92 minutes, Júlio Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Negri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 played minutes Adriano Matorin rounded Papunhas EC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. When the final whistle sounded Rio Verde F.C CIMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Papunhas EC.
