Enio Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilian Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After having played for 6 minutes, Paul Broberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scrotum Kickers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Broberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enio Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Bäcklin, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The attack was good, but when Roland Bäcklin in the 13th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Joel Duset received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Enio Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Severino Quintal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Palmquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 31st minute Kim Enström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enio Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Enström in the 32nd minute of play. Karl-Erik Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When João Francisco Mota fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mestre GG's protests and gave João Francisco Mota a yellow card for diving instead. 47 minutes into the game, Scrotum Kickers FC's Joel Duset nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enio Pinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paul Broberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernani Lira in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Palmquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Christian Donato hit a great ball. Jörgen Stephansson kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Severino Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. After 71 played minutes Mestre GG got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Mota. Roland Bäcklin hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Scrotum Kickers FC's goalkeeper Sven Palmquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 74 played minutes Mestre GG got a freekick which was hit by Christian Donato. After 75 minutes, Roland Bäcklin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scrotum Kickers FC and the Mestre GG players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Scrotum Kickers FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. In the 91st minute of the match, Kim Enström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enio Pinho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 93 minutes of play Scrotum Kickers FC's Roland Bäcklin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Scrotum Kickers FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Roland Bäcklin hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, Mestre GG's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Duset came free, but Enio Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scrotum Kickers FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
