With a little luck, Papunhas EC's Régis Madureira got control of the ball when Kim Enström tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute Paul Broberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Papunhas EC's Fernandão Meirelles got a free kick in the 16th minute. Sven Palmquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Furtado in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Paul Broberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Scrotum Kickers FC's zone, David Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Palmquist came out of the goal and David Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul Broberg made a kick off. When Karl-Erik Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Scrotum Kickers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Erik Jonsson couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the game, David Furtado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papunhas EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scrotum Kickers FC the free kick. Paul Broberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roland Bäcklin during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Scrotum Kickers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Bäcklin to maneuver through the defense. Paul Broberg took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Régis Madureira. Régis Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Régis Madureira came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Scrotum Kickers FC's Joel Duset. But to his dismay, Joel Duset quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 71 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Enström came free, but Régis Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Scrotum Kickers FC's goalkeeper Sven Palmquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frédson Rosa. In the 74th minute, Karl-Erik Jonsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paul Broberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 78 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's Frédson Rosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven Palmquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Joel Duset managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scrotum Kickers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Duset was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Régis Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kim Enström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Roland Bäcklin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Maurinho Prestes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papunhas EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scrotum Kickers FC the free kick. David Furtado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sven Palmquist came out and tried to block the shot, but David Furtado slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 92nd minute. Scrotum Kickers FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
