Catugi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 10th minute, Ronaldão Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Davi Proença reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Augusto Camargo. The goal made the score 1-1. Glauco de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Augusto Camargo made a huge save. Luizão Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Kempel in the 22nd minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Luizão Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Christoffer Kempel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 47 minutes into the match, Cesinha Mazza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luizão Braga. Catugi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesinha Mazza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Disappointed in the 1-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christoffer Kempel made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Catugi FC got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Viana. Luizão Braga was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Christoffer Kempel. In the 56th minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Christoffer Kempel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luizão Braga. Luizão Braga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Christoffer Kempel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Luizão Braga made a huge save. Augusto Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luizão Braga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ivo Pernambucano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-9 in the 89 minute of play. Júlio Negri scored 1-10 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizão Braga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Falcão Nóbrega dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-11. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ played a much better game than Catugi FC and deserved their victory. The Catugi FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
