The audience thought a goal was coming when Armandinho Vergílio got free with Luizão Braga in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Catugi FC's Davi Proença in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.A. Francana's goalie prevented a goal. Luizão Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Wilton Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizão Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luizão Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Ramos in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th play minute Armandinho Vergílio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luizão Braga. 1-0. Luizão Braga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilton Romero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Luizão Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Telmo Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Telmo Trigo came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Catugi FC's Davi Proença. But to his dismay, Davi Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Catugi FC's Luizão Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilton Romero in the 35th minute of play. Catugi FC's Luizão Braga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Catugi FC from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the game, A.A. Francana's Luiz Eduardo Rodrigues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luizão Braga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 47th minute Davi Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armandinho Vergílio was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Ramos notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Catugi FC's Luizão Braga. Luizão Braga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luizão Braga came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by A.A. Francana's Armandinho Vergílio. But to his dismay, Armandinho Vergílio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 61st minute, Armandinho Vergílio made a precise shot to the right of Luizão Braga. Catugi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Luizão Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Romero in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Evandro Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luizão Braga. Catugi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evandro Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. After 76 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Rodrigues. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. João Carlos Ramalho hit a great ball. Arnaldo Ramos scored 8-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizão Braga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the game, A.A. Francana's Armandinho Vergílio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luizão Braga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. Luizão Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Romero in the 90th minute of the match. Luizão Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Iuri Viana hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Frederico Bertassi charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frederico Bertassi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th match minute, Catugi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. A.A. Francana fully deserved thier win.
