Luizão Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Giovani Maia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catugi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Giovani Maia got a free kick in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Massa came free, but Luizão Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
