Thanks to some nice moves Wilian Fonseca could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Telmo Trigo however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in A.A. Francana's zone, Dé Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Trigo came out of the goal and Dé Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Dé Paiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeca Donatello during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Mestre GG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Donatello to maneuver through the defense. Cido Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to A.A. Francana getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cido Vinhas hit a great ball. The Mestre GG supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mestre GG would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
