Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Maurinho Prestes made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Papunhas EC's Nestor Rodrigues got a free kick in the 4th minute. Wilfredo Gaxan, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 7th minute, Gaston Joanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th match minute, Papunhas EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Moraes to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Pacho came free, but Lauro Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Javier Botello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Papunhas EC booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Fonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Agustin Pacho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lauro Secco. Papunhas EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustin Pacho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 24th minute Agustin Pacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Papunhas EC's Lauro Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Pacho in the 26th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Joaquim da Fonseca put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Papunhas EC's Joaquim da Fonseca got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Wilfredo Gaxan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lauro Secco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Papunhas EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Lauro Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Frechoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pedro Rojelio got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Agustin Pacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Papunhas EC got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Prestes.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Pacho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilfredo Gaxan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauro Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Frechoso in the 57th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Agustin Pacho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When Agustin Pacho came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Club Atlético Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Pacho couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Paulino Frechoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Paulo Ribeiro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, Nestor Rodrigues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papunhas EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Papunhas EC! Lauro Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Pacho in the 76th minute of play. Javier Botello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulino Frechoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lauro Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Pacho in the 90th minute of play. Maurinho Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Pacho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Lauro Secco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Agustin Pacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Lauro Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
