The supporters of Montevideo booed when AKS Kozienice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maria Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Alfred Drab notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Montevideo's Wincent Jaworski. With his leg Wincent Jaworski managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when AKS Kozienice's Alfred Drab fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 35 minutes in the game, Lucjan Burufski fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wincent Jaworski having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucjan Burufski in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wincent Jaworski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38thth minute of the game Lucjan Burufski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montevideo's Wincent Jaworski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute of the match AKS Kozienice got a corner. Montevideo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dagoberto Loyola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laerte Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Clóvis Paraense hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The referee ignored Montevideo's protests and gave Clóvis Paraense a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Montevideo's Clóvis Paraense got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Cyprian Witwicki's late challenge caught a Montevideo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some careless play in the Montevideo defense, Cyprian Witwicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wincent Jaworski. The Montevideo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wincent Jaworski should have stopped the shot. Montevideo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
