An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Barbosa in the 4th minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Lauro Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafinha Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Artur do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Jaworski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. When João Paulo Ribeiro fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papunhas EC's protests and gave João Paulo Ribeiro a yellow card for diving instead. João Paulo Ribeiro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Artur do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The long shot by Clóvis Paraense in the 17th minute really tested Lauro Secco's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Loyola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lauro Secco. Papunhas EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dagoberto Loyola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Montevideo's Rafinha Zanette got a free kick in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the game, Montevideo's Mathias dos Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lauro Secco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Wincent Jaworski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur do Nascimento in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Lauro Secco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias dos Santos. The supporters of Montevideo booed when Papunhas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Clóvis Paraense sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lauro Secco skillfully saved the ball. Lauro Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafinha Zanette in the 42nd minute of the match. Papunhas EC's Lauro Secco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Papunhas EC from getting a goal against them. Wincent Jaworski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur do Nascimento in the 46th minute of the match. Wincent Jaworski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur do Nascimento went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Montevideo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Maurinho Prestes scored to the left of an out of position Wincent Jaworski, making the score, 3-2. Renan Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Lauro Secco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montevideo. After some careless play in the Papunhas EC defense, Dagoberto Loyola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lauro Secco. The Papunhas EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lauro Secco should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Fernandão Meirelles hit a great ball. Papunhas EC's Lauro Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Loyola in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Natanael Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montevideo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natanael Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Dagoberto Loyola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montevideo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Renan Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wincent Jaworski made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Artur do Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. Mathias dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Secco having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Guilherme Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lauro Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. David Furtado hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Montevideo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
