After 3 minutes of play, Catugi FC's Leonel Varela made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 叶扬晨 was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 陆振明 during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes 『挑战者』Wolf Totem got a freekick which was hit by 陆振明. 叶扬晨 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Leonel Varela made a precise shot to the right of 叶扬晨. 『挑战者』Wolf Totem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 12th match minute, 『挑战者』Wolf Totem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 林光烽 to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Edvin Skräddare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 雷希城, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute of the game, 巩松铮 landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The supporters of 『挑战者』Wolf Totem booed when Catugi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Edvin Skräddare was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from 陆振明. After 47 played minutes 『挑战者』Wolf Totem got a freekick which was hit by 胡旭誉. In the 47th minute of the match, Artur Nunes sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but 叶扬晨 showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nando de Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to 『挑战者』Wolf Totem getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. 柯笑骏 hit a great ball. 柯笑骏 charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 71st minute, 柯笑骏 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 方磊云 struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Sven-Edvin Skräddare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 『挑战者』Wolf Totem. Nando de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 『挑战者』Wolf Totem's 雷希城 got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered 雷希城 off the ground. 叶扬晨 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando de Alcântara in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes 『挑战者』Wolf Totem got a freekick which was hit by 方磊云. If Leonel Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nando de Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but 叶扬晨 made a huge save. The Catugi FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
