A nice corner shot did that Clóvis Paraense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Germano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience cheered when Clóvis Paraense's long shot passed Carlos Germano's right side. It was 2-1, 69 minutes into the match. Joaquin Fonso kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Renan Barbosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Germano having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Montevideo fully deserved thier win.
