Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfred Drab to make the kick off. AKS Kozienice's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucjan Burufski in the 66th minute. Lucjan Burufski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Melquiades Amor made a huge save. AKS Kozienice's Lucjan Burufski managed to work through CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. AKS Kozienice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucjan Burufski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cícero da Costa in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Szczepan Jazowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The AKS Kozienice supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AKS Kozienice would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
