After a defensive mix-up in Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's zone, Fabiano Borel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karim Bado came out of the goal and Fabiano Borel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karim Bado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfredo Reis in the 42nd minute of play. Doni Meirelles came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Frederico França. But to his dismay, Frederico França quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manfredo Reis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lenílson Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MOC ⚽ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doni Meirelles should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Lenílson Gomes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doni Meirelles. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lenílson Gomes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.
